Holly + Al: The Wedding Story

I've never attended a more whimsical affair. From mermaids to bright turquoise accents, and pops of orange, Holly & Al's wedding was simply gorgeous! Holly & Al were inseparable from their first date. They met on match.com and as Holly explained, "He was the first and only person I ever agreed to go out with on a date on MATCH," she said. She fell in love with his love for writing and heart for animals. Holly, an animal lover, knew he was right for her from jump. After relocating to Las Vegas, Nevada, Holly knew a proposal was imminent. She made sure to tell him that whenever and however he did it, he should not make a big to-do. "I told him don't spend a bunch of money or anything," she said. "Just keep it simple and intimate." That's exactly what Al did. One saturday morning, he went down on one knee in their living room and asked if she'd be his forever bride. Holly quickly said yes and they began planning the party of a lifetime. "I knew I'd have a lot of guests from out of town," she explained. "So I wanted to be sure I made the reception a party WORTH traveling thousand of miles!" They decided on a Sailors and Mermaids theme because Al served in the US Navy and Holly is enamored with all things Caribbean.

She came down the aisle to her fav Disney tune, "A Whole New World," from the Aladdin soundtrack. She decked out her cake with a fondant octopus, and she brought her love of the caribbean to her eco-friendly bouquet with flowers made from a map of the Caribbean sea.
